The Six Bells in Alfriston (formerly Tavern on the Tye) has recently reopened after a major refurbishment. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us in providing an enjoyable and memorable experience for our customers.
A bar/waiting person at the Six Bells will be expected to perform the following tasks during a typical shift:
~ greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional manner
~ take orders and serve food and drinks (including use of barista coffee machine)
~ clear/clean tables and keep bar area clear, clean and presentable
~ take payments and be numerate

One of the advantages of working at the Six Bells is that there are no very early starts and no late night finishes. Staff on a day shift start at 9am (at the very earliest) and finish between 2.30pm and 3pm. Staff working on a later shift are normally finished by 9pm (9.30pm at the very latest).
Successful applicants will need their own transport due to rural location and poor public transport.
