About us
The Travellers Rest is a homely pub in Sutton-In-Ashfield, providing home cooked, good value and delicious food as well as a well kept selection of beverages, both alcoholic and not.
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a good work ethic, a passion for cooking, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen eye for detail. Kitchen experience would be welcomed but not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals according to recipes, ensuring that all food is cooked properly and safely, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Prepare food in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- Communicate with colleagues in a professional manner.
Job Type: Part-time
