- Job Purpose Statement
The purpose of this role is to work as part of the operational picking team to deliver effective, timely and cost-effective waste processes on our recycling processing site. You will form part of a maintenance cleaning team with a structured schedule by ensuring plant remains cleaned, maintained, and serviceable at all times whilst maintaining a proactive approach to safety procedures.

- Job Responsibilities
· To work within each waste stream sorting all waste within each process for effective recycling operations.
· To work closely with other team members, to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
· To use equipment to assist recycling processes as required.
· To carry out general housekeeping and maintain high standards in the recycling plant and externally.
· Maintain a clean and tidy operations site and equipment.
· Report all near misses, accidents, or incidents in accordance with company procedures.
· Sort waste and remove non-recyclable items.
· Inspect materials for contamination.

· Experience within the waste industry (desirable)
Hours & Rate of Pay
Monday to Friday 6.00PM to 6.00AM with optional overtime.
