The Avoca Hotel Newcastle have an opening for a part time casual housekeeper on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be able to clean to a high standard, be reliable, flexible and able to work weekend mornings as required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and replenish supplies
- Vacuum carpets and rugs
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: £8.00-£10.46 per hour
