Pampered Paws Company is a reputable animal care service looking for an experienced, reliable and trustworthy dog walker to join our team for a part time self employed position.
You need to be passionate, driven with a love for everything dog. You need to enjoy working outside in all weathers including snow, rain and wind. The summer is lovely, but walking in rain and mud is hard work. You must be good at working in a team, but also motivated working by yourself.
Key Responsibilities
- Walk and provide care for dogs of different age, breed and temperaments
- Follow individual pet care instructions provided by dog owners
- Ensure the safety and well being of dogs under your care
- Build strong relationships with dog owners and their pets
- Ensure pet waste is picked up and disposed of responsibly
- Communicate with the office team regarding scheduling, changes and feedback
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- You must be 25 years or above
- Full clean UK driving license
- Must be able to work in the UK
- Must have excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills
- Physically capable of walking multiple dogs for up to 1.5 hours at a time

Dog welfare and having fun is at the top of our priority list as well as creating a fun, positive atmosphere at work. There is a chance of overtime, as the schedule can change weekly due to the fast nature of the industry. The hours may vary slightly by are predominantly between 9am and 3pm. Full training will be provided. Age restrictions apply due to vehicle and liability insurances.

Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
