We’re looking for people to join our amazing Bus Operations team across Greater Manchester, we have vacancies across some of our hubs that we’re looking to fill now, and due to work we are doing across Greater Manchester, we’re looking to recruit to our talent bank for roles that may become available over the next 6 months.


A little bit about our Bus Station Assistants

Our Bus Station Assistants are epic, in this role, you won’t just be a Bus Station Assistant. You will be the familiar face people see on their daily travels, the friend who says hello every day, the custodian who helps to keeps everyone safe and the person who cares about assisting passengers in distress or if they need help on their way. Every day will be different, you’ll meet people from all areas of Greater Manchester. You might well be the first person in Greater Manchester they meet and you will provide them with the best possible customer service. You can find out more information in our role profile.


About you

We’re looking for people who are interested in people, if you want to serve your community and those of Greater Manchester, helping people on their journeys, keeping our stations clean, safe and tidy, then we want to hear from you. We want to hear about who you are and the amazing impact you can have on our passenger’s day.


What’s in it for you?

We offer a competitive salary, starting from £20,995, plus a shift allowance of 15%, this means that as you’ll work on a rostered basis, we’ll add an extra 15% onto your total pay for the month (not just for certain shifts). Through this advertisement, we will be populating a talent bank for opportunities at our hubs across Greater Manchester for full time and part time positions that may become available over the next 6 months. These could also be Fixed Term Contract or Permanent positions.
