We are seeking a Responsible Individual for a NEW Children's Residential Home in Shipley (West Yorkshire)
We have recently obtained planning permission to open a 4 bed EBD Children's Residential Home. The property is in an excellent location and has been renovated to a very high standard. We have set out on a journey to create an extremely positive environment for our young people, promoting safety and quality in all aspects. Responsibilities
- Ensure legal compliance of the home's procedures and processes
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015
- Steer the home towards gaining OFSTED registration
- Ensure the home is prepared for OFSTED inspections
- Develop relationships and links with partners agencies
- Support and supervise the Registered Manager
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to the team
Key Experience & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Children and Young People
- Experience working as a Responsible Individual in an EBD children's home environment
- Effective supervision and leadership skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
