As a Care Assistant, your primary role will be to provide our clients with personal care, household assistance, and emotional support. You will play a vital role in ensuring their well-being and quality of life. We seek individuals with strong organisational and problem-solving skills who can work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
- Meet clients' personal and household care needs, including dressing, grooming, skincare, medication observation, and housekeeping.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all care visits.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, family members, and other professionals.
- Assist clients with their physical and emotional needs.
- Administer palliative and clinical care according to individual care plans.
- Ensure the safety and security of clients and their environment.
- No qualifications are required; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Willingness to learn.
- Reliable nature.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Remuneration: £10.60 - £15.90 per hour, excluding Christmas Day, which is paid at double time.

You will support clients in their homes in the following locations: Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Sawley, Risley, Breaston, and Draycott in Derbyshire. We strive to assign work as close to your home as possible, minimising travel (owning a car is preferred).
Our shift patterns:
We prioritise work-life balance and offer flexible shifts based on your contract and availability. Shifts can be in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings and must include weekend availability (one-on/one-off).
