What will the role of Fuel Point Assistant include?
Reporting into the Team Leader you will be responsible for operating the fuel point and the CET plant to deliver the highest possible performances a team member. Duties will include:
Fuelling of the traction units- Filling toilet water tanks and emptying effluent tanks
- Filling wholesome water tanks
- Replenishment of coolants, oils, sanding systems and screenwash
- Topping up of any other ontrain systems
- Carrying out any maintenance activities to documented instructions
- Ensure all documentation and paperwork issued relating to the work being carried out is correct and fully completed
- Maintaining tooling and equipment
What will I need to be considered for the role of Service Assistant?
Good standard of education- Previous experience and involvement of rail vehicle maintenance activities is beneficial
- Level 2 certificate in engineering is desirable
